Mason County Reentry Coalition and TOP (Transitioning Offenders Program) work together to help offenders with the reentry process. TOP helps offenders from all over Washington state, whereas MCRC is specifically for those releasing into Mason County.

MCRC uses the TOP program's Statewide Community Database, which has over 8,400 resources that can be utilized by the offender to help him or her obtain housing, medical care, and employment, among other things. The offender can contact the TOP office to schedule an interview with a TOP representative to access these resources.

MCRC meets once a month inside the Washington Corrections Center. These meetings are attended by mentors, coaches, volunteers, and sponsors to discuss and problem-solve the issues that face released and soon-to-be-released members of the Mason County community. The goal is to provide resources and mentorship for a seamless and permanent transition.
